50-card set originally found one card per pack of candy stick 'cigarettes'. Cards show the development of cars from the early 1900s through to the mid-1960s. Card fronts depict a color picture featuring a classic car from the 20th century; card backs contain information about each vehicle.

  1. Barratt & Co. London, England was one of the major producers of confectionery cards in the 20th century, with cards dating back to the 1920s and 30s. Cars, Trains, and Wonders of the World are only a few of the card series they produced. Barratt was taken over by Bassett's in 1966, but continued to produce cards in their own name until the mid 1970s, after which Bassett's produced cards under the name Geo. Bassett & Co. Ltd. (Barratt Division).
